Thanking the Planet on Thanksgiving: Looking to have a lower climate impact this Thanksgiving? The Davis Food Coop is offering an organic* and a plant-based meal ready to reheat – no slaving over a hot stove, less dishes to wash, more time to spend chilling out with friends and family! It includes a hand-made seitan roast. See the whole, fabulous menu, select the Vegan Feast by clicking on Meal Description, and order here. Last day for orders/cancellations is November 21. (*Note they could not find an organic vital wheat gluten, but everything else is.)

2nd Tuesday COOL Food Flash Mobs continue Tuesday, November 11 from 6pm-9pm at Ike’s Love & Sandwiches at 212 F Street. Order your meal then grab a seat at any table marked for COOL Cuisine and make some new friends! Ike’s has a large selection of plant-friendly subs and snacks.

Thai Vegan Dinner at Red 88:  Red 88’s chefs invite you to embark on a one-of-a-kind 5-course Thai Vegan Dinner, featuring Yum Ma Muang, Fresh Rice Rolls, Tom Kah Soup, Guay Tiew Hang, and the dazzling Ruby & Jade. Begin your evening with a burst of tropical fruit, journey through vibrant herbs and earthy roots, and conclude with sparkling treasures from Thailand’s beloved desserts.
