You may have gotten a hug from La Gotita at a Cool Davis festival or seen her on Cool Davis social media channels, but did you know that La Gotita has helped change the world by lobbying for the human right to water in both North and South America?

The story begins in 2003 when the Peruvian government began receiving money from the Inter-American Development Bank with a condition: Peru must privatize its publicly owned water services. To avoid unrest, the Peruvian government, decided to roll out privatization in phases, stating in smaller municipalities. Read more

Greywater Enthusiasts Gather to Talk Water Reuse

The Greywater Showcase put together by Cool Davis partner Water Wise Davis this past Wednesday July 12, 2017, brought together a diverse group of about 40 participants and sparked some interesting discussion around greywater and water reuse in our community.
