MAY IS BIKE MONTH! 

This annual month-long event aims to encourage and aid riders to swap their cars for handle bars to boost community and our air quality. The festivities begin as early as April 22 with the Cesar Chavez Elementary School Bike Swap, followed by tons of other events to prepare for this month-long activity. Keep up with it all with the May is Bike Month Calendar and make sure to register yourself or a team to compete.

Join the Cool Davis team here! Cool Davis will also be hosting an eBike pop-up May 20th at the Farmers Market, so swing by!

Incentives news flash: Yolo Commute is offering incentives to participate in bike month such as $100 for bike accessories or $200 for a new bicycle from a full service local or regional bicycle shop. Funding is limited and based on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to submit a request is May 15, 2023. Learn more about the different options and how to submit a request here.

Loopalooza 

Loopalooza is an annual event hosted by the City of Davis in collaboration with Bike Davis to get everyone riding the 12 mile Davis Bike Loop with 11 different stops along the way to pick up bike swag, decorate helmets, chalk the sidewalk , and so much more! This super fun community ride rolls out Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 10am – 2pm. Start anywhere on the loop, in any direction. More info.
