Annual Coalition & Partner Meeting
In the past for December’s gathering, Cool Davis has convened the full Coalition to gather input on plans for the coming year and to celebrate our work together. The last time we did this in person was December 2019. This year, we are back! Save the Date: January 18th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Location Davis Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis Central Park, corner of B and 3rd. Join us for planning and discussion for the future. City of Davis Climate Action and Adaptation Plan
The City of Davis is continuing the next steps in the approval of the its Final CAAP Draft. Reviewed by the council on December 6th where they made final recommendations. Next steps are CEQA review and final adoption in early 2023.

City of Davis Downtown Specific Plan
On December 13th the City Council approved the Downtown Davis Specific Plan. This 20 year plan envisions significant increases in density and elevation for downtown properties with over a 1000 new housing units to help secure some of our housing and climate goals together.

Listen & Contribute to Yolo County Climate Action Commission Discussions
Formed in 2021, the Yolo County Climate Action Commission current topics include new planning working groups, local funding, and the County Climate Action and Adaptation planning process that is just getting started. The County Climate and Sustainability program has a new website where you can find commission information and the link to their monthly meetings on the 4th Monday of the month at 4 pm.
Regular Working Group & Partner Meetings
Yolo Interfaith Alliance for Climate Justice – Meets 2nd Thursday of the month at 1pm. Email interfaith@cooldavis.org to be added to the list.
Davis Electric Vehicle Association – Every other month on the 2nd Wednesday at 6pm. Email deva@cooldavis.org to get on the list. Next meeting in February. Catch past meeting videos on DEVA playlist at our YouTube site.
COOL Cuisine – Join them on Facebook and sign up for their meet-up list.
Yolo Mobility – Meets Thursdays at 4 pm. Contact: yolo-mobility@googlegroups.com to request to be added to the group.
Yolo Climate Emergency Coalition – Meets monthly first Thursday of the month at 2pm. Ask to be added to the list at coalition@cooldavis.org
Fridays for Future/Climate Strike – Fridays at noon on the Corner of 5th and B in Davis.
