Test Drive Electric Vehicles at Davis Farmer’s Market
Cool Davis and the City of Davis are hosting a movable feast of electric vehicles near the Davis Farmers Market on Saturday, September 16th on 4th Street between C & D as part of National Drive Electric Week which runs September 9th to the 17th in 2017.
Between 9am and 1pm, lucky residents and visitors alike can view and partake of a test drive before (or after) grabbing their market goodies!
The first 100 test drivers win $10 Farmers Market bucks sponsored by PG&E or Downtown Davis Gift cards!
Show & Tell Over 20 electric vehicle owners — some from our local DEVA (Davis Electric Vehicle Association) — will be on hand to talk about their driving and ownership experiences. Electric vehicle models at the event may include the Leaf, Tesla S & X, Bolt, Volt, C-Max, Fusion, BMW E3, Fiat500e, and others.
Ride & Drive Several retail car dealers will also be at the Farmer’s Market with vehicles available for a test drive. Sign up at the info table and look for test drive vehicles on 4th St towards the D Street side!

Maine just became the first state in the nation to pass an actual law requiring divestment of public funds from oil, gas, and coal companies.
The City is opening a cooling center today (Wed.) from 1pm to 8 pm located at the Davis Senior Center at 646 A St. Please use the 7th St entrance to the West multipurpose room. The cooling center will remain open through Sat. (daily hours 1 pm to 8 pm). Masks are required.
