Heat Pump Week 2026: Join the Movement Powering California’s Clean Energy Future

Heat pumps are transforming how homes across the state stay comfortable—delivering efficient heating and cooling while supporting a cleaner energy future. From new construction to home upgrades, these modern electric appliances are becoming increasingly common in communities throughout California.
During Heat Pump Week (April 11–19, 2026), organizations and communities statewide will highlight this growing momentum and encourage more households to explore the benefits of heat pumps.
A key driver of this effort is California’s newest awareness campaign, led by the California Heat Pump Partnership. Designed to accelerate adoption, the campaign supports a statewide goal of installing 6 million heat pumps by 2030.

Engagement—through likes, comments, and shares—can help expand the reach of these resources and increase public awareness.
Throughout Heat Pump Week, events and activities will provide opportunities to:
-
Connect with contractors and installers to learn what works best for different home types
-
Explore all-electric appliances, including heat pumps for space heating, cooling, and water heating
-
Discover incentives and rebates that can make upgrades more affordable
-
Hear from community members who have already made the switch
-
Access clear, unbiased information to better understand available options
Opportunities to participate extend beyond attending events. Local enthusiasts, organizations, and municipalities are encouraged to help bring Heat Pump Week to life through activities such as neighborhood gatherings, project showcases, or ribbon cuttings. Contractors and community ambassadors interested in hosting or co-hosting events are invited to connect with organizers for more information.
Save the Date: Cool Davis “Make a Plan” Workshop
Those interested in taking the next step toward home electrification can look ahead to an upcoming Make a Plan Workshop hosted by Cool Davis on May 17th 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
The workshop will offer practical guidance, local resources, and clear information to help participants plan energy-efficient home upgrades, including heat pumps.
Additional details will be shared soon.
As heat pumps continue to gain traction across California, Heat Pump Week highlights the people, projects, and progress driving the transition—helping more households access clean, efficient home comfort.
