This spring, Cool Davis is bringing clean transportation to the community with a series of engaging, hands-on events—and you’re invited to take part.

We’ll be hosting a transportation-themed pop-up at the Davis Farmers Market on May 23rd, where community members can explore electric vehicles (EVs), e-bikes, and traditional bicycles. Whether you’re curious about making the switch to an EV, interested in trying an e-bike, or simply want to learn more about sustainable transportation options in Davis, this pop-up offers a welcoming space to connect and learn.

In addition to the Farmers Market pop-up, Cool Davis will be part of upcoming community events:

Join us for one of Davis’s most celebrated traditions as we highlight clean transportation in action.

  • Loopalooza at Mace Ranch Park – May 3rd, 10 AM–2 PM
This family-friendly event is a great way to kick off May is Bike Month, a time when communities across the region celebrate biking as a fun, healthy, and climate-friendly transportation choice. Stop by our booth to learn more about biking resources and opportunities.

Get Involved

We’re looking for volunteers and community members who want to help make these events engaging and impactful. Whether you’re passionate about climate action, enjoy talking about bikes and EVs, or just want to support local events, there are many ways to contribute.

Volunteering opportunities include:

  • Helping staff our Farmers Market booths

  • Talking with community members about transportation options

  • Assisting with event setup and coordination

  • Joining us in the Picnic Day Parade

All volunteers participate in a brief orientation before getting started. If you’re interested in joining us, you can learn more and sign up through our volunteer page.

Come Say Hi

Mark your calendars, bring a friend, and stop by to see what we’re working on this spring. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved with Cool Davis, these events are an easy and enjoyable way to start.
