Looking for a fun and meaningful way to get involved this Fall? Cool Davis has exciting volunteer opportunities lined up, and we’d love for you to join us!
Whether you’re passionate about sustainable transportation, clean energy, or community engagement, there’s a place for you at one (or more!) of our upcoming events. No experience necessary — just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference.
Third Saturdays: Transportation Pop-Up
Support local transportation initiatives and encourage low-carbon travel! You’ll chat with community members about walking, biking, public transit, electric vehicles, and shared mobility options.

Join us for an exciting one-day event showcasing electric vehicles and sustainable transportation!

Fourth Saturdays: Home Energy Pop-Up
Help your neighbors learn how to save energy at home with tips on heat pumps, solar energy, insulation, energy-efficient appliances, and more. We provide all the materials and training!

Home Energy Champion
Use your first-hand knowledge and passion to support community members in improving home energy efficiency through retrofitting advice, and guidance on clean energy solutions such as solar energy systems and heat pumps. Champions engage in community education, helping homeowners reduce their household energy consumption by acting as a knowledgeable and friendly guide.
Where: Home Energy Outreach Events, Make a Plan Workshops and Advising Sessions
When: Home energy advising sessions are planned for September and October. Sign up for Thursday or Saturday orientations to learn more; or visit our volunteer page.
New to Cool Davis? Join a Volunteer Orientation!
If you’re volunteering for the first time or want to learn more before jumping in, we invite you to attend a brief volunteer orientation. Get to know our team, our mission, and how you can get involved in the way that suits you best. You can also let us know your interests and availability on our volunteer page. We’ll follow up with you to get a better idea of how you want to be involved!
When: Orientation sessions offered monthly on Thursdays or Saturdays— sign up to get notified of upcoming dates
