Second event in the works

Cool Davis will be hosting the second of two online “Green Your Finances” events with panelist statements and question responses, a panelist discussion, and final question and answer session focused on investments. We’ll be busting the performance myth, explaining the difference between divestment and engagement, and clarifying terms such as Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) ratings. We’ll also introduce individual financial advisors located in Yolo County, California, as well as other expert advisors. Our planning team includes moderator and Cool Davis Board member Rekha Vaitla, Investment Officer for Sustainable Investment and Stewardship Strategies at CalSTRS.

These events were organized in support of the Yolo Earth Day pledge. Find out more at www.cooldavis.org/pledge.
