We are back in person! Please join us on Wednesday, August 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Muir Commons (2222 Muir Woods Place) in Davis for the next meeting of the Davis Electric Vehicle Association (DEVA). If you prefer to attend virtually, use our YouTube live video feed courtesy Davis Media Access (see link below). You do not need to pre-register for this meeting: just show up or use the links below.

Plan to park on Shasta Drive and at the Patwin Elementary School across the street.  Then walk North through our parking lot on Shasta Drive to reach the community house about 40 yards across the green.  DO not park in our community parking lots! 

Agenda

6 p.m.:

  • Welcome and introductions.
  • Hot topics and questions – Share recent EV news that you’ve heard and ask general questions about electric vehicles.
  • Planning for National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) – The Sunday Oct. 1 event will feature an EV showcase and test drives. Learn how you can help.
  • Davis Market EV pop-up – Held on the third Saturday of every month.
  • Multiple Unit Development (MUD) EV Charging – Seventy-one UC Davis chargers are being installed at new Orchard Park housing for graduate students and student families.

7 p.m.:

  • Muir Commons tour – By local resident and DEVA member Eugen Dunlap.
  • New vehicle presentation – View a Rivian R1T.

We will serve light refreshments. The meeting will be indoors in the large community hall, and face masks will be available.

You do not need to pre-register for this meeting, but we will ask each participant to provide their name, email address, and EV model (if any) at the beginning of the meeting. People attending virtually can submit questions by text, so watch during the meeting for instructions on how to do this. We are still testing our hybrid meeting capabilities for future meetings, so please bear with us!
