This year’s winners are
Environmental Legacy: Explorit Science Center (Cool Davis partner)
Individual/Group: Cathie Bullis, Davis Picks It Up (read out article about Davis PIU by Carson Po)
Sustainable Community Special Recognition: Rancho Yolo Senior Community (Cool Davis partner, active Coalition member, and collaborator)
Non-Profit: Davis Electric Vehicle Association (DEVA) (Cool Davis working group)
Business: Active4me (Founded by Tim Starback)
Barbara Gardner, Robert Poeschel, and Richard Bode were on hand to accept the award for DEVA. According to Robert, Barbara gave the best honest reason for why we want to help spread the word on EVs … they’re fun to drive and accelerate like a “bat out of hell.”
Cool Davis is especially happy about the award for residents and staff of the Rancho Yolo Senior Community! They have worked hard and continue to collaborate with Cool Davis on resilience and other projects.
