Shop Small Weekend 2021
Join the Davis Downtown Business Assocation (DDBA) for Shop Small Weekend 2021, the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving this year. To draw customers in to local businesses — instead of online or outside retailers — Davis Downtown is hosting a raffle with prizes and offering customers a raffle ticket for every $10 they spend at participating businesses.
Business owners: Join the list of businesses participating in Shop Small Weekend 2021! Attract customers to purchase goods or services from your establishment.
Sign Up Here! Encourage the public to shop at your location!
Shoppers: Shop local and small all day Saturday and Sunday November 27th and 28th! Limit 10 tickets per customer per business.
Details: DDBA representatives will drop off raffle boxes, tickets, and an instruction sheet Friday November 26th. Raffle boxes will be collected on the morning of Monday November 29th.
December to Remember
The DDBA goal is to bring customers downtown to patronize downtown businesses throughout the holiday season! Sign up to be a participating business in two separate programs, which will drive community members to your establishment!

The annual tree lighting ceremony is back and will be a LIVE event on December 2nd, hosted by the City (further details to come). The DDBA would like to “unwrap” the town the same day as the tree lighting. Our Downtown Unwrapped initiative will be a great way to encourage families to come down and check out new art, amenities, and holiday decorations.

Elf on a Shelf is the new Where’s Waldo! Beloved to children, we are continuing last year’s crowd-pleasing activity! Our goal is to introduce a new customer base to your location by enticing them to locate this sneaky elf! Community members will be invited to visit your location and snap a selfie with the elf.
*Your employees will be responsible for changing placement of the elf for customers to find, or, you may leave it in one spot
*The elf will stay in your store from December 2nd through 20th
