Annual Polar Bear Ride Jan 1st 2021
Start the New Year right! Join The Bike Campaign for this year’s Polar Bear bicycle ride on the Davis and Woodland bike loops!
RAIN / SHINE / HAIL OR SNOW WE WILL RIDE!
This is a self-guided ride: Friday, January 1st, 10am. You may start with us at two separate locations or hop on the route in Davis or Woodland and ride in either direction: clockwise or counterclockwise.
- DAVIS NUGGET: 1414 E. Covell Blvd. 13 mi. on the Davis Bike Loop.
- WOODLAND NUGGET: 157 Main Street 10 mi. loop ride in Woodland
NO ADMISSION FEES. There are no starting points or finish lines for the bike rides.

Join the Davis Futures Forum and Yolo Mobility, Cool Davis working groups, as they host guest speaker Susan Handy, Director of the National Center for Sustainable Transportation, who will offer her perspective on the current planning for I-80 traffic congestion and the Yolo Causeway. Her presentation will be followed by a diverse panel who will give us their thoughts about the Caltrans I-80 Corridor Master Plan and the associated widening project planned within Yolo County.
