Davis Amtrak Community Workshop
Have ideas for improving the Davis Amtrak Station? Let the City know at a community workshop on Thursday, February 20.
The City is hosting an upcoming community workshop where the project team will present feedback from previous community outreach efforts, and seek input from community members about recommended improvements to the station area.
The community workshop is taking place at the Dresbach-Hunt-Boyer Mansion at 604 2nd Street in downtown Davis on Thursday, February 20, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.
The workshop is part of a study already underway to identify improvements and opportunities at the Davis Amtrak Station to increase access and ridership by making the station a multi-modal transportation hub with more active and accessible public spaces.

Maine just became the first state in the nation to pass an actual law requiring divestment of public funds from oil, gas, and coal companies.
The City is opening a cooling center today (Wed.) from 1pm to 8 pm located at the Davis Senior Center at 646 A St. Please use the 7th St entrance to the West multipurpose room. The cooling center will remain open through Sat. (daily hours 1 pm to 8 pm). Masks are required.
