Create Art for 50th Earth Day Celebrations
Prepare for the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by joining with people of all ages to make giant puppets, flags, banners, murals, and stencils with help from artists Alyx Land, Danielle Fodor, Drucella Miranda, and more, April 3rd through 5th at the Davis Arts Center at 1919 F Street, Davis.
These local artists are gearing up for an explosion of color, form, and scale. A three-day ArtBuild for the Earth (and All Her Creatures) is scheduled for early April and all community members are welcome! An ArtBuild is a shared visioning and creative process faciliated by artists in collaboration with community members.
Make art for yourself or to share with local environmental groups.
Visioning workshop is scheduled for Friday April 3 from 5:30pm to 8pm.
ArtBuild is set for Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and 5, 11am to 5 pm on both days.
