Larissa Lomen: Web Editorial Assistant On Board
The Cool Davis Communications Team is proud to announce the addition of volunteer Larissa Lomen as our new Web Editorial Assistant. Larissa identifies crossposts and enters them into our content management system, otherwise known as WordPress. This involves making judgments about content, assigning appropriate categories and tags, and navigating and rendering image requirements. Cool Davis is super appreciative of Larissa’s contributions and her fast learning curve!
Here’s a bit more about Larissa directly from her:
My name is Larissa Lomen and I have a degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from UC Davis. After graduating I worked with the local non-profit, Tree Davis, working with community volunteers to enhance and expand the urban forest. I am lucky again to be working directly with the community this time in my hometown of Long Beach. Here I assist the water department with their Lawn2Garden program substituting lawns with water-wise alternatives.
I am passionate about making small changes that have large environmental effects, and admire Cool Davis in their efforts to inform and inspire the community to do the same.
