EV Pop-Up at Davis Farmers Market August 17
Come learn about the latest in transportation technology and climate saving commutes! Visit electric vehicle (EV) owners and enthusiasts at Davis Farmer’s Market Saturday, August 17, from 8am-1pm, and find out what it’s all about.
The third Saturday of each month, the Davis Electric Vehicle Association (DEVA) displays an electric vehicle (EV) at the Davis Farmers Market. Each display includes an EV, the EV’s owner, and one or two helpers who pass out literature and answer questions from market passersby. Please let us know if you are willing to display your vehicle and/or be a helper.
The EV display lasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but the Farmers Market, located at 301 C Street, Davis, requires that car owners arrive with the display vehicle by 7:45 a.m.
If you would like to volunteer as an owner or helper, please send a message (including your preferred dates) to email@example.com.
At previous EV displays, DEVA members have been encouraged by the interest and enthusiasm generated by the vehicles. We think you’ll enjoy learning about EVs directly from owners and perhaps move towards the satisfaction of a new or used EV yourself. NO pressure, though! These are vehicle owners only.
