Join Cool Davis on the North Coast Climate Ride and build memories to last a lifetime!

Team Cool Davis will once again be participating in the California North Coast Climate Ride, a beautiful and challenging 327-mile route over 5-days from Fortuna in Humboldt County ending in San Francisco from Sunday, May 22 to Thursday, May 26, 2016.

You can make it great by supporting Team Cool Davis with donations or joining as a rider.

I am participating in Climate Ride this year for Cool Davis in order to support their work on climate change. Not only does Cool Davis perform vital work locally, it creates a case study and momentum for broader action and benefits across California and the nation.

Please show your support for Team Cool Davis by

  • Volunteering to lead training rides as a member of the team

This cycling adventure is a fundraiser facilitated by the non-profit Climate Ride for “life-changing charitable events to raise awareness and support sustainability, active transportation, and environmental causes.”

Similar rides take place nationally and internationally each year in places like Death Valley, Saigon, Glacier National Park, and anywhere, anytime independent riders feel the call. Any ride can become a Climate Ride in support of Cool Davis.

Climate Ride staff take care of details so riders can focus on riding and the incredible scenery. The $100 registration fee covers all the logistics like meals, snacks, road and bike support, and luggage transport.

My individual donation goal is $3000. Our total team goal is $10,000. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could raise more for Cool Davis’s great work on climate in our community!

I participated in the 2014 Climate Ride. The 2014 Cool Davis team was led by Dave Kemp, City of Davis Active Transportation Coordinator at the time. Training rides will be organized as needed.

I look forward to your support and enthusiasm!
