May 3 – Loopalooza

A family-oriented bike ride showcasing the Davis Bike Loop’s proximity to schools.  9 stations located around the Bike Loop will host fun and educational activities like coloring, a safety skills course, and water games. Start at any station to obtain a passport. 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. More information at davisbicycles.org/Loopalooza

May 10 – Amgen Tour of California

Professional racers will ride through Davis around 2:20 p.m. on their way to Sacramento. Route: Riders will enter Davis from the south on Mace Boulevard, following Mace Boulevard to Covell Boulevard, then turn north onto Pole Line Road toward Woodland.
