Innovation Center Listening Tour
Innovation Center Listening Tour
(Innovation Center City Council Sub-Committee – Mayor Pro Tem Robb Davis & Council member Rochelle Swanson)
The Davis City Council is interested in establishing new innovation business opportunities that facilitate technology and business development in Davis. The City has received two planning applications for Innovation Centers: Mace Ranch Innovation Center, at the City’s eastern edge, and Davis Innovation Center, at the City’s western edge. These applications are in the planning process, both require Environmental Impact Reports, and eventually a public vote to annex the property into the city limits.
The City and UC Davis are partnering on a 3rd site, Nishi Gateway, a mixed-use innovation district located in the Richards Blvd. & Olive Drive area, south of the UC Davis main campus. For more specific information about the innovation center projects, please visit: http://community-development.cityofdavis.org/innovation-centers
Robb & Rochelle are hosting community meetings to listen and record concerns regarding these three projects. They will not be presenting information, they will be listening to concerns and questions. The meetings are not for project lobbying.
