Lisa Baker looks forward to collaboration as the Cool Davis Coalition takes shape.

The Cool Davis Coalition invites all current partners plus interested individuals and aspiring partners to attend a coalition meeting and social gathering on Thursday, April 4 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Eleanor Roosevelt Circle.  Eleanor Roosevelt Circle is situated at Cantrill and Fifth Street to the west of the Davis Police Station.

Under the expert guidance of the two co-chairs Lisa Baker and Tom Hall, the meeting will cover a number of topics including an introduction to the new structure for the group; the selection of one or more representatives to the Cool Davis Foundation Board; sharing of member successes, concerns, and needs in regards to their own greenhouse gas emissions reduction; possible future projects including the 2013 Festival; brainstorming for future meeting topics; the possibility of advocacy such as 350.org participation; and other ideas that participants bring.

For Tom Hall, fostering discussion on lowering carbon emissions is natural.

Members will also have time to enjoy light refreshments as they get to know one another better.

Please RSVP at info@cooldavis.org if you plan to attend.

P.S.  To minimize your carbon footprint and avoid parking hassle, consider biking.  Or, Eleanor Roosevelt Circle has bus service to downtown on the Unitrans A Line which stops on Fifth Street just across the road.   Cool Davis guests may park in the police station parking lot.
