On February 23, the Cool Davis Initiative co-sponsored a free showing of the delightfully funny film, “No Impact Man”. at Veterans Memorial Theater.

The Sundance-selected film chronicles the yearlong adventures and foibles of a young New York City couple and their toddler as they attempt to reduce their carbon footprint to the lowest possible level.Davis Mayor Joe Krovoza hosted a brief program before the film.

The event was a great success with over 300 people turning up to watch the film, and hopefully inspired to take their own action to reduce their carbon impact. Everyone who attended was challenged to join the Low Impact Week. >Find out more
