For those who want to try their hand at writing poetry about nature, award-winning poet Ellery Akers will be teaching a poetry writing workshop titled "The Poet as Nature Writer." Register for this online workshop being held Sunday, May 22nd from 4-6pm PST. City of Davis Poet Laureate Julia Levine will host the event and be present for breakout sessions.
