Last week, the California legislature passed SB 868, legalizing “balcony solar”, which are small, portable panel kits that plug into any outlet with no rewiring or costly installation required. The bill is now waiting for the Governor’s signature.  It offers solar to renters and anyone who could not do rooftop solar installations previously.

With so many rental households in Davis this could be a game changer!
