The Climate Movie Circle is proud to present our June film selection, "Kiss the Ground,” for an in-person screening, Sunday, June 11th from 1:30pm to 3:00pm with optional discussion until 4:00pm at the Blanchard Room of the Yolo County Library Mary L Stephens Davis Branch at 315 E. 14th Street in Davis.
Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis. By regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Take it from us, this is an inspiring and hopeful film that could not be more relevant to us here in Yolo County!
Volunteers will also be collecting "Why I'm pledging" videos for the Earth Day Pledge Challenge at the screening as well! Make your pledge to reduce carbon pollution and build resilience throughout the coming year to Earth Day 2024.
We’re looking forward to the movie, conversation, and pledging to make a difference!
