We will gather post election on November 17th 3-5 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis.  Plan to join us in person or online for a special reflection on his book " The Ministry for the Future" and What to Expect on Climate in 2025.  Its five years since the book and we have asked him to speak to impressions on where we are in coping with climate change. Since the event is post election we hope to have a hopeful and practical discussion.

We will start out the afternoon with special music from local musician Rita Hosking. These are songs featured in her latest project  Climate Country Radio. Rita won a grant from CA Arts Council to write a small collection of songs about the climate crisis . The songs are designed for northern CA rural counties, to be played on community radio stations as PSAs, but they are pertinent to a larger audience as well.

Robinson writes science fiction, or more precisely, climate fiction, and the topic of most of his recent books is the urgent threat of climate change and the loss of biodiversity on our earth. He also envisions how to understand and transform our dangerous trajectory. Robinson writes of many solutions as he weaves his story, and in his talk and post talk panel discussion we will reflect now 5 years later on how we are doing.  Bring your thoughtful questions and insights.

Register for this online webinar being held Sunday November 17th 3-5 pm PST.  The webinar will feature Kim Stanley Robinson.  A dialogue with a panel local Climate practitioners and Q&A session will follow.  Program details and the link to the online event will be included in a confirmation email after registration.
