Cool Davis is hosting our first hybrid zoom and in person Quarterly meeting on March 15th at the US Bicycle Hall of Fame in Davis.
Transportation emissions are the largest portion of our local (household, community and regional levels) greenhouse gas emissions. Retooling, reforming and reorganizing the ways we transport ourselves around this region is essential to reducing those emissions rapidly over the next decade.
Join us as we host guest speaker Autumn Bernstein, Executive Director of the Yolo County Transportation District.
With 15+ years of experience in urban planning and transportation, Ms. Bernstien has dedicated her career to making California communities more sustainable, just and inclusive.
Prior to joining YCTD, Autumn worked in the private and non-profit sectors. She was the founding Director of ClimatePlan, a statewide coalition, where she worked with advocates, MPOs and local leaders across California to implement SB 375, California's Sustainable Communities Act and its vision of climate-smart mobility for all.
She will discuss the importance of reducing emissions and providing mobility options that work in our everyday lives as well as the plans to transform our local and regional transportation systems in the next decade.
