Mark your calendar now for this year’s electric vehicle showcase! The Davis Electric Vehicle Association (DEVA), Cool Davis, SacEV, and the City of Davis invite you to participate in our local National Drive Electric Week event EVs@thePavilion Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 11am to 2pm at Davis Central Park Farmer’s Market Pavilion at 301 C Street in Davis! National Drive Electric Week (NDEW), or “endew” for short, is a nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the many benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more, spanning September 24 through October 2 this year. There are outdoor and virtual EVents planned across the country including in Davis!

We have hosted wildly successful events in the past attracting hundreds of residents to owner Show & Tell and dealer Ride & Drive gatherings. This year’s event will include 20+ vehicles and 20+ owners and their electric cars, trucks, and motorcycles! We encourage our EV-curious neighbors to come out and discover the benefits of driving electric.
County guidelines regarding COVID-19 will be followed. Masks are welcome! Please practice safe-distancing to protect everyone.

What’s new this year? Pick-up trucks and buses! The exciting new Ford F150 Lightning and Rivian R1Ts pick-up trucks and Ford E Transit cargo van will be on site, plus electric motorcycles, e-bikes, and tons more. Unitrans will pull in their new electric Flyer Xcelsior CHARGE® electric bus and we have invited several vehicle dealers to provide Ride & Drives for their vehicles. Jeff Flynn, Unitrans General Manager, told Cool Davis via email, “Unitrans is excited to introduce our first electric buses into service this month to help move our our campus and city communities to meet our shared environmental goals.”
