Partners and Outreach

Community outreach will be critical for achieving Cool Davis' goals

Cool Davis believes that it will only be successful when it engages the full community in working together to implement Davis’ Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. It is therefore actively involved in recruiting new community partners who agree to support the mission of Cool Davis and have committed to the Cool Davis pledge of reducing carbon emissions.

This committee:

• Identifies and interviews potential partners who are then presented to the Cool Davis Initiative Core Group for approval
• Organizes educational and networking programs specifically for Partners
• Presents the work of Cool Davis to community organizations, local groups, and city committees
• Carries out other community outreach activities as decided by the group
