Volunteers at 2010 Cool Davis Festival
Do you want to have fun and volunteer at one of Davis’ biggest environmental festivals? Then Cool Davis needs you! Last year, a team of tens of volunteers made the festival a great success. This year with even bigger plans, we need more help than ever.
Planning the festival
To help plan the fun, attend our general planning meetings:
Wednesday Sept. 14 7:00 p.m.: Veterans Memorial Club Room - Fitting it all together
Tuesday Oct. 4 7:00 p.m.: Veterans Memorial Club Room – Final Details
Volunteer for coordinating parts of the festival program
Interested in helping out with any of the following?
- Organize sections of the program
- Plan children’s activities
- Work on a raffle
- Put up posters
- Hand out flyers at Farmer’s Market
- Handle the T-shirts
- Recruit and confirm volunteers
- Write press releases , etc.
